Fold is an innovative AR puzzle game that bridges the physical and digital worlds by combining a tactile chessboard with mobile augmented reality. The project reclaims the physical act of play, requiring players to manipulate a set of real chess pieces on a 4x4 grid to control virtual reflection towers on their device’s screen. By rotating and positioning these physical objects, players must calculate and design intricate light paths to guide beams through designated stations, eventually forming a closed loop to solve the puzzle.
